You know it never amazes me what people think they can get away with...or what they think you will put up with. I know I can be a pushover. But if you don't stand up for yourself from time to time...who else will?
Good point. No one can stand up for you like you can stand up for yourself.
I've been thinking about this same thing.I realized if someone loves you, really cares about you, you shouldn't have to stand up for yourself to them. They should NEVER put you in a position to have to stand up for yourself because they will be looking out for you and protecting your interests and feelings, in my opinion... :)

I am happy that I had so many brothers and sisters that I learned quickly how to stand up for myself. I am glad that you are doing it as well!
